The restoration of the Dreamland Ballroom and Taborian Hall has been an on-going project that has lasted over 25 years since the building was bought by Kerry McCoy in 1990. The ballrooms fervent reconstruction began in 2009 with the founding of the Friends of Dreamland non-profit. There has been enough work put into the building by Kerry and her employees so that, for many years, it has been suited to house a showroom, office space, breakrooms, and shipping warehouse for FlagandBanner.com. And the ballroom is sound enough now to support 350 guests for private parties and fundraisers. But there is still a lot of work, time, and money needed for the space to be up to code and host its true capacity for a public audience.
